what kind of solder is used to repair automotive electrical wiring?
a)40/60 rosin core
b)60/40 acid core
c)solid core
D)60/40 rosin core
anyone know teh correct answer?
ill give you the points....lol
Answer: One would certainly not use an acid core for wiring (but if you were repairing an old copper radiator you might)
Of the choices given, D is best, but in reality, lead is being phased out these days, and one might use a nearly all tin (with maybe a couple percent silver or other metals) rosin core solder.
